Howard founded B-Stock Solutions in 2008 with the idea that technology could revolutionize how businesses leverage the secondary marketplace to sell and buy excess inventory. Prior to founding B-Stock, Howard served as General Manager of eBay’s enterprise B2B business, known as the Private Marketplace group, which he launched in mid-2004. Through his work Howard has helped a variety of enterprise clients liquidate over $1 billion in excess inventory via bulk lot, online auctions; this includes launching dozens of online marketplaces for a variety of Fortune 1000 organizations and working with hundreds of companies selling through eBay’s B2B Reseller Marketplace.

Prior to launching the Private Marketplace group at eBay, Howard was an early member of the team that built eBay Motors where he focused on business development. Prior to joining eBay, Howard was founder and CEO of a web-based, user-generated, on-demand video service which offered members access to an online library of independent films.. After launching and running the company for 18 months Howard sold it to Hollywood Media (NASDAQ: “HOLL”). Prior to that, he was a venture capitalist with Rosewood Capital and involved in the investment of approximately $70 million in consumer companies including branded product manufacturers, business services, retail, restaurants, and e-commerce companies. Prior to joining Rosewood, Howard spent two years at the Blackstone Group in New York. He holds dual degrees with honors in Economics from The University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business and an MBA from the Harvard Business School

Howard spent four years on the Advisory Board of the Reverse Logistics Association and has been a frequent speaker on techniques to optimize liquidation recovery.
