Paul Baum, CEO & Founder, entrepreneur to the core. Paul has a 20 year proven track record of creating “Sustainable Green Value” in the IT Asset Disposition & Returns Management industry. Paul has spent his entire professional career perfecting the industry leading Asset Value Recovery model he calls “Market Match”.

Paul began in the industry when he founded Rumarson in 1991 and soon developed many of the first and largest OEM & Retailer “cash-in and trade-up” programs. Rumarson was #164 on INC 500 and was often featured in major business media. Paul led Rumarson for 10 years as CEO before selling the company to Selectron which has since been acquired by Flextronics.

In 2001 Paul took his expertise and formed PlanITROI, focused on the concept of “Planning IT Return-on-Investment.” The foundation of this innovative IT asset disposition and returns program is that it “Starts with the end in mind.” – The approach creates a match in the marketplace for a clients returned assets prior to getting the return back. The proprietary “Market Match” system assures that time and resources are only invested if there is an acceptable projected return on that investment. The system integrates the data from today’s industry sale price comps, future industry trends, potential value add and original asset costs into the decision making process for each of our clients’ assets.
